Dave Moorwood

Welcome to the Website of Dave Moorwood, guitarist, banjoist, bass player, bandleader, arranger and vocalist in the traditional jazz idiom.

Dave has been playing guitar and banjo with a wide variety of bands and groups since his schooldays, but since 2004, on finishing an eight year stint with the Pete Allen Jazz Band, he has been concentrating on his own projects: the Rascals of Rhythm and the Big Bear Stompers.

In addition he is often to be found helping out with many of the top traditional bands. Terry Lightfoot, sha1 Collie, Brian White, Barry Palser, Roger Marks and many others all use his services and he has also become a regular member of The French Quarter All Stars.
