Reported Errors
In the version of PAYCALCM sent out in March 2009 there is a calculation error in National Insurance for directors who have both the ‘N.I. cumulative’ and ‘On account’ flags set to ‘Y’. An updated version of the N.I. calculation program is now available to download.
The parameter update program originally incorrectly set the standard rate of SMP to 123.16 instead of the correct figure of 123.06. The download currently available (see the Downloads page) now sets this figure correctly.
The Payroll menu program version 4.1.9 still displays 'Tax year 2008/09'. This is a display error only and in no way affects the operation of the system in 2009/10. An updated menu is available on
request.

Mogan Computers and Accountant Software have worked together to produce a new Payroll system that provides an upgrade path from Accountant Payroll. It will perform almost all of the functions available in the current release of Accountant (Version 4.1.9) and will allow data, if required, to be used in conjunction with Microsoft Access. WinPrint is a new Add-On to Accountant (£125 to Non-Contact holders, £75 to Contract holders) that allows any spooled print to be send to printers that are not DOS compatible or linked via USB rather than parallel ports. It also has options to compress documents prior to printing and to print documents in landscape format. Contact Accountant Software for more details.
